Live readings from the new book: Listening Once Again to Our Great Mother with Pacheedat elder Bill Jones and co-author Karen Moe.
The event is being put on by Fox and Elemental Journeys and will also include participation and art projects, all at the Royal starting at 6 pm on Monday October 5.

All mayoral and council candidates have been invited, with as many as 17 candidates taking part in a discussion focused on the environmental issues that matter to our community.
For voters who cannot attend there will be at the same time a livestream available on youtube, and an audio recording available after the event.
The forum is sponsored by the West Kootenay Climate Hub, Doctors and Nurses for Planetary Health Kootenay Boundary, and the West Kootenay and Nelson Chapter of the Council of Canadians.
