The big forestry companies in BC are panicking because the tariffs are blocking them from their market in the US. This is the pretext for the BC government to completely turnover their approach to forestry. and gone are the days (last year!) of protecting old growth. We have Nelson forest ecologist Rachel Holt back too help us unpack all this.
