Meet the new executive director of Neighbours United, Molli Bennett. She tells us what the organization –that started here in Nelson– is doing all over the continent now.

Kai Nagata from Dogwood BC has been documenting local opposition to another fracked gas pipeline for years. This past week the BC government approved the pipeline to go ahead.  Kai tells us why the decision is so controversial.

The new federal government has started off with a bang, and that sound is the crash of federal laws and processes set up to ensure industrial projects don’t overly hurt our environment and are acceptable to indigenous peoples. Critics say Bill C-5 is a real step backward in environmental protection. Anna Johnston, a staff lawyer from West Coast Environmental Law speaks to us from Ottawa about the bill that just passed through Parliament.
