Slocan Valley environnmentalist Marilyn Burgoon died in December.  She was one of the most frequent guests on this show, as she pursued the years-long court case on the 2013 Lemon Creek jet fuel spill. Her legacy of environmental action is much greater than that alone. We spoke with her long-time ally Marilyn James about the legacy.

Good Jumbo news in Cranbrook on Saturday, January 18th, when the K’tunaxa nation invited Jumbo Wild campaigners to celebrate the launch of the  Indigenous Protected and Conserved Area in the Purcell Mountains that finally closes the door on the Jumbo Ski resort scheme.

Two young women have been holding their climate strike every Friday outside Nelson City Hall for nearly half a year.  That’s 25 consecutive Fridays. We hear from Ginger Osecki and Calypso Jane Blackman.
