Jennie Barron, executive director of the MIR Centre for Peace, spoke on Peace and Climate at an International Day of Peace event in Nelson. We replay her excellent talk showing how peace is important to climate, and climate to peace.

Brock Snyder from Argenta has been at several local logging road encampments over the past few months.  He tells us how he is raising money now for more legal challenges of Kootenay logging practices.

Sven Biggs is a campaigner in Vancouver with Stand.Earth.  He gives us an update on the opposition to the TransMountain bitumen pipeline, the legal challenges and the good news that construction likely won’t go anywhere for some time.
